Meet
the Dream Dragon Voice Actor Geoffrey Holder
The
Dream Dragon has a voice! And what a voice it
is! Actor Geoffrey Holder brings the Dream Dragon
to life as the voice of this new, loveable children's
character. Mr. Holder brings with him over 20
years experience in show business and a deep-seeded
love for children. The Dream Dragon is not the
first children's character that Mr. Holder has
lent his voice. Mr. Holder recorded the character
voice and songs of "the Beachmaster" for the Sullivan
Bluth animated film "The Pebble and the Penguin".
Mr. Holder also has much experience in live theater.
He has received two Tony Awards, it's like the
Oscar's for live theater, for his work in the
Broadway musical THE WIZ, for Best Director and
for Best Costume.
Your parents probably remember Mr. Holder as the
7-UP "Un-Cola Man". We would enjoy his deep, full
voice and his hearty laugh, "Ha, Ha, Ha!" His
distinguished voice continues to be one of the
most recognizable in television commercials, several
of which, including 7-UP and British West Indian
Airlines, have won him Clio Awards, the highest
honor you can receive from the television commercial
industry. Mr. Holder was even a featured performer
at the 1990 Academy Awards, where he performed
a song from THE LITTLE MERMAID.
Mr. Holder has been in many movies too. He has
appeared in "BOOMERANG", with Eddie Murphy, "ANNIE",
with Albert Finney and Carol Burrnett, "LIVE AND
LET DIE", with Roger Moore and "DR. DOOLITTLE",
with Rex Harrison, just to name a few.
Mr. Holder can be heard on the Dream Dragon Read-A-Long
& Sing-A-Song audiocassette that accompanies the
new Dream Dragon Tuck 'em in Bedtime Story, Dream
