the The Dream Dragon Safety Squad and The National
Childrens Information Registry
Childrens
Character To Promote Safety
Tustin,
CADragon Tales Publishing announced today
that the National Law Enforcement and
Security Institute (NLSI) will sponsor and promote
the Dream Dragon Safety Squad, the National
Children's Information Registry (NCIR) and the
idea of "Kid Safety". These programs
will promote safety for children and will offer
valuable services for parents wishing to protect
their children.
Dream
Dragon Safety Squad: "Kid Safety"
Is A Bright Idea
What
is "Kid Safety"? Kid Safety is a special
kind of safety. It is more than just being careful,
it is about kids watching out for themselves
and watching out for their friends. It is about
learning how to be safe and about teaching other
children what has been learned. Kid Safety is
about becoming a leader and showing that you
care! Kid Safety teaches children how to effectively
handle dangerous situations. It teaches them
what to do if a stranger approaches them or
what to do if they are caught in a fire. It
explains how playing with their friends can
help keep them safe and that staying away from
drugs and gangs can keep them out of trouble
and safe! The first step towards Kid Safety
is becoming an official Dream Dragon Safety
Squad Member! When a child becomes a member,
they will receive a complete membership kit.
The kit includes different Kid Safety information
and tips, a membership card and information
about how to become a Safety Squad Special Agent.
There is a one time $15.00 membership fee to
become a Safety Squad Special Agent. As a Special
Agent, a child will receive a fingerprinting
kit, a Special Agent Identification Kit, a photo
record sheet, a Safety Squad Special Agent membership
card, a Special Agent Certificate of Safety
and more! Parents will keep most of these items
with other important documents.
Dream
Dragon National Childrens Information
Registry (NCIR)
The
NCIR Program is sponsored by NLSI, a national
leader in security and law enforcement training
and personal safety programs. Through the NCIR
Program the vital information needed when a
child becomes missing is immediately accessible.
The NCIR Program database maintains all the
pertinent information that will assist in locating
the child. Each child in the database has a
current photo, as provided by the parents or
guardian, a finger print record and all of the
physical characteristics of the child. No matter
where they are, a parent can have the peace
of mind knowing that all of this important information
is only a phone call away. The 24-hour staff
can be conveniently reached through the NCIR
toll-free telephone number. The NCIR operator
will forward the childs information to
local law enforcement, mall security, event
security or where ever the situation may call
for. This information can be sent electronically,
via computer modem, or by facsimile. Either
way, this helpful information is in the hands
of the professionals in just a matter of minutes.
There is a $5.00 initial processing fee and
an annual update fee of $5.00.
