childrens literacy and we feel fortunate
to be able to make this donation," said
Dragon Tales Publishing founder, Gerald Kostecka.
"This donation event is possible because
of a combined effort between Dragon Tales Publishing;
Barnes & Noble; our printers, Hsing Tai
Color Graphics; and our safety partner, the
National Law Enforcement & Security Institute.
Our only regret is that we cannot do more!"
Dragon
Tales Publishing, LLC
Dragon
Tales Publishing, LLC was formed to introduce
the new Dream Dragon childrens character.
This new childrens character is being
used to promote the "3-Es":
Education, Empowerment and Entertainment. Dragon
Tales Publishing has partnered with the National
Law Enforcement & Security Institute to
promote new childrens safety programs
which use the Dream Dragon to teach important
safety lessons. These programs include the Dream
Dragon Safety Squad, a safety club for children
of all ages, and the Dream dragon National Childrens
Information Registry (NCIR), a new service allowing
parents to have vital information about their
children stored and available in case the child
ever becomes missing or lost. Dragon Tales Publishing
is also working with veteran actor, Geoffrey
Holder, who portrays the voice of the Dream
Dragon and can be heard on an audiocassette
that accompanies the Dream Time Friend
book. Dream Dragon books and audiocassettes
can be purchased from the new Dream Dragon Stories
publisher, Practice & LearnRight Publications,
www.learnright.net. There is also a Dream
Dragon web site, www.dragon4kids.com,
which offers resources and fun for both children
and parents, including a FREE, printable coloring
book version of the book, Dream Time Friend.
Dragon Tales Publishing is working hard to turn
"2000, Year of the Dragon", into "2000,
Year of the Dream Dragon!"
Over
100 guests, including parents and children,
are expected to be at the event and there should
be fantastic photographic opportunities. For
